Individual Portrait – (ie corp or special occasion)
We can come to your home or office, or alternatively you can come to us. It is a great idea to bring two outfits, or two different tops. By having a change of clothing, you maximise the different look and feel of your images.
This package is suitable for an individual who needs a great image of themselves, perhaps to accompany your CV or profile.
We don’t put a time limit on the shoot, but generally it takes around 45 mins – 1 hour. We won’t stop until we’ve got some great shots of you. We show you the images as they are being shot, this way you get a good feeling for the poses we are doing and how they look for you.
You will be able to view your proofs via our web site, approximately 7 days after the shoot. You will advise us of your selection and we then finish the images and prepare a CD for you. Don’t worry if you can’t decide which images to select – we love helping choose the images with you. We can be harsh on ourselves and all have aspects that we don’t like or wish we could change etc, so often a fresh pair of eyes can make all the difference to the selection process.
Unless you specifically request otherwise, we shoot our corporate portraits to obtain a relaxed and approachable feel. We generally don’t use dramatic lighting, unless discussed prior to the shoot. We will provide a range of images for you to select from. Some will be from the waist up, others head and shoulder and some in a tight and contemporary cropped style. Sometimes it’s good to try a style that you wouldn’t normally consider – you might just be pleasantly surprised by the results. Also, we generally don’t shoot full length, unless requested. We’re happy to meet you at your favourite place, if you would prefer on location images/outdoors.
You will receive approximately 3 - 6 finished images on CD. They will be supplied as JPEG files at 150DPI, sized to 5” x 7”. We will provide you with both a colour copy and a set of files in black and white. Your CD of images will arrive in the post approximately 2-3 weeks after shooting.
As a tip, have a look in magazines like BRW and other corporate type publications – this can help give you an idea of what you might light for your photo shoot.
Don’t worry – it’s not painful and you might actually have fun. At the least, you will feel like a superstar with all the attention and camera flashes focussed on you.
